Sonitpur district administration felicitates 4 meritorious students of of HS (Science) examination, 2019 and Central Board of Secondary Education Exam

Tezpur: The Sonitpur district administration on Wednesday felicitated the three rank holders of HS (Science) examination, 2019 from Tezpur at a function held at the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

The administration felicitated Sayan Mazumdar, Dishant Saikia and Subhrajyoti Paul, who came first, second and sixth respectively in the recently declared examination, along with Tushar Tayal of Army Public School, Tezpur who scored 99 per cent in the Class XII board examination under the Central Board of Secondary Education. Tushar Tayal came first in East India rankings while he ranked fifth in the All India rankings under CBSE.

While Sayan Mazumdar and Subhrajyoti Paul are from Darrang College, Tezpur, Dishant Saikia completed his HS from Dimension Academy, Tezpur. All the four students were felicitated by Deputy Commissioner Narsing Pawar who encouraged them to do well in life and do their bit for the betterment of the society. The Deputy Commissioner said he would always be available to provide them with all possible help and guidance in their future endeavours and wished them a bright future.

Senior district administration officials, parents and guardians of the students, Vice-Principal of Darrang College, and Principal of Dimension Academy, were also present on the occasion.
