Sonitpur District Administration organized meet on enforcement of Excise law

TEZPUR: The Sonitpur District Administration organized a meeting at Conference Hall of Deputy Commissioner's Office, Sonitpur to discuss the inter-state coordination between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh for enforcement of Excise law during the upcoming Assembly election.

The meeting which was chaired by Commissioner of Excise Rakesh Kumar was attended by Sonitpur Deputy Commissioner Manvendra Pratap Singh, Deputy Commissioner of West Kameng Karma Leki, Sonitpur Additional Deputy Commissioner Kulen Sarmah, Superintendent of Sonitpur and West Kameng Mugdhajyoti Dev Mahanta and B Bharat Reddy, Sonitpur Superintendent of Excise Bedanga Bhushan Saikia, among other dignitaries of Excise department and civil administration of Sonitpur and West Kameng district.

Sonitpur DC Manvendra Pratap Singh delivered the welcome address and felicitated the dignitaries present in the meeting.

The dignitaries discussed various issues relating to strict enforcement of Excise Laws pre, post and during the forthcoming Assembly Election of Assam. Sonitpur, West Kameng, and Bomdila districts agreed to work in coordination to ensure smooth completion of Assembly Election 2021 in the State of Assam.
