Sonitpur police recovered 10 stolen bikes from Thelamara area

TEZPUR: Acting on a tip-off, the Sonitpur police on Monday claimed to have solved 10 cases of vehicle theft with the arrest two persons from Thelamara area in Sonitpur district. In continous drive against bike lifters by the Task Force under the supervision of Madhurima Das, Additional Superintendent of Police, Sonitpur a team of Dhekiajuli PS led by OC Raja Sarkar and staff apprehended two bike lifters and recovered ten motorcycles that were stolen from different parts of the city. According to the police, the arrested was identified as Habijul Islam and Nur Mohammad of Komarchuburi village under Thelamara PS in Sonitpur district.
