Sootea hospital road in a dilapidated condition

JAMUGURIHAT: The PWD road of New Sootea PHC connecting Ghahigaon, Nurpur, Charaijonia villages has been lying in a dilapidated condition for long. The hospital road is one of the important roads for the people living to the northern part of NH 15. Many institutions including New Sootea PHC, the APDCL office of Sootea sub-division among others are located on this route. The road just beside the Sootea commercial centre has been lying neglected for a long time. There is no sign of black topping on the road causing pond like gutters in between the road causing a lot of problems to the passersby especially to the serious patients and pregnant women. The ambulances plying through the road had to suffer a lot. The general people of Sootea have appealed to the department concerned to look into the issue seriously and to take necessary initiative as early as possible.
