Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika inaugurated Bihu workshop at Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A week-long Bihu workshop was inaugurated by Sootea MLA Padma Hazarika on Monday at Jamugurihat center.

The workshop, organized by Kanyaka Bahumukhi Krisi Pam in collaboration with Bharaliporiya Bihuwa Dal, will be held at the historic Bohagi Bihu Bakoril located at Jamuguri center.

A total of 500 children took part in the Bihu workshop.

Inaugurating the workshop, Hazarika appealed to the young and budding learners to acquire detailed skills concerning the area of their interest. He further added that if we teach a girl child about our culture, then it will be more fruitful as she would be a mother one day. A skilled mother can teach her children well, he said.
