GOLAGHAT: For the first time in Golaghat, three-day ‘Sound Healing Therapy’ session has been organized successfully. The session has been arranged under the leadership of social leader-cum-entrepreneur Rashmi Phukan. Participants in the three-day sound healing therapy session ranged in age from toddlers to seniors. According to the sources, 247 participants has participated in the sound healing therapy session. Social leader-cum-entrepreneur Rashmi Phukan and Sound Healer Sweety Chakraborty interacted with media persons on Monday. The media briefing was organized with the aim to inform about the successful ending of the three-day sound healing therapy session.

During the media briefing, sound healer Sweety Chakraborty said that sound healing is a part of our ancient culture in which, with the help of beej mantras, meditation, music, vibration and singing bowls, the pain of suffering could be removed. The therapy boosts the power of brain, so that our immune system gets strong. This will help a person to fight with the disease and the pain. Modern science has also recognized this therapy in many researches. In today’s stress-full condition, this therapy is doing wonders in all over the world on everyone from a child to an old person, she added. She further added, “Everything in the Universe has its own unique vibration and frequency. Sound Healing is an ancient healing practice used by sages since ages, and also practised by Lamas and has deep roots in Tibetan culture.

Everything in the universe is sound or vibrations or energy. Sound has deep healing properties. Every physical, mental, emotional problem is due to distortion in the energy field but with the help of sound the energy can get back to normal. Sound Healing is very relaxing and sound can travel and reach into each and every cell of the body and mind, and can take us into deep meditative states. It helps with physical illness. It also helps to balance the emotions. The rhythm and flow of energy in our body gets re-established,” stated a press release.
