Special COVID vaccination camp organized in Sonitpur district

TEZPUR: Special vaccination camp was organized jointly by Sonitpur district administration, health department and Gahan Udyan Committee at Gahan Udyan premises at Nikamul, Parua on Thursday. The special vaccination camp was formally inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner Bhupesh Chandra Das in presence of journalist Ashwani Bora, social worker Pankoj Barua and other dignitaries. The drive was held under the supervision of Additional Chief Medical and Health Officer, Dr Phani Pathak and DIO, Dr Biman Sharma.

The camp was organized for newspaper hawkers, barbers and employees of saloons/ parlours and car/ garage mechanics. Around 150 persons were vaccinated as part of this camp.
