KOKRAJHAR: Special prayer was offered by the students of UN Academy, Kokrajhar on Friday evening for speedy recovery of former president of the Bodo Sahitya Sabha (BSS), Brajendra Kr. Brahma who is undergoing treatment in a private nursing home at Siliguri in West Bengal.
The special prayer was also joined by the chairman of UN Brahma Trust and Principal of Janata College, Dr. Subung Basumatary, and Director of UN Academy, Krishna Gopal Basumatary. Around 600 students of UN Academy took part in the prayer.
Former president of the BSS, Sahitya Akademi awardee and Tagore award winner Brajendra Kr. Brahma has been battling for life at Malay Hospital and Research Centre, Siliguri in West Bengal. He was hospitalized after suffering from a severe stroke.
