BOKAKHAT: Under ASRLM, Panchayat and Rural Development, 36 scooties were ceremonially distributed by State Agriculture Minister Atul Bora among the community cadres of Bokakhat Development Block. Under the Assam State Rural Livelihoods Mission (ASRLM), Panchayat and Rural Development, 36 scooties were ceremonially distributed among the community cadres of Bokakhat Development Block on Sunday. These scooties were distributed under the Jeevika Sakhi Express Scheme, 2022.
The Government of Assam launched the Jeeviika Sakhi Express Scheme, 2022 on August 21 of the current year, under which the government has been providing scooters to the community cadres. While launching the scheme, Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma already distributed 6,670 scooties to the beneficiaries of the Sakhi Express including Krishi Sakhi, Pashu Sakhi, Jivika Sakhi, Bank Sakhi and Bima Sakhi who work as community cadres.
In Bokakhat, the ceremonial programme on the occasion was organized in the auditorium of the District Library. In the programme, 36 scooties were distributed among women who are working as community cadres, like Krishi Sakhi, Pashu Sakhi, Jeevika Sakhi, Jeevika Sakhi, Bank Sakhi and Bima Sakhi, stated a press release.
