DIBRUGARH: The State Bank of India (SBI) Foundation donated 1,500 good quality PPE kits amounting to more than Rs10 lakh to Assam Medical College and Hospital (AMC&H) in a brief function held at the AMCH conference room on Monday adhering to COVID protocol strictly.

SBI Foundation is a non-profit subsidiary of State Bank of India that was launched to undertake CSR activities of the SBI group. Deputy General Manager (DGM), SBI, Dibrugarh, Kamalesh Kumar Singh, on behalf of the foundation, formally handed over the PPE kits to the Principal-cum-Chief Superintendent of AMCH, Dr Sanjib Kakoty. DGM Kamlesh Kumar Singh and Principal Dr Sanjib Kakoty spoke a few words on the occasion. Dr Kakoty thanked SBI for their great initiative to support COVID-19 relief.
