State Bank of India, Northeast Circle donates medical equipment to Mercy Hospital, Nagaon

NAGAON: State Bank of India, Northeast Circle, donated medical equipment (X-Ray Machine and ABG Analyzer) to Mercy Hospital, Nagaon. In a handing over ceremony, the medical equipment was handed over by Dinesh Khara, Chairman SBI to Sister Celin, Director of Mercy Hospital in presence of RS Ramesh, Chief General Manager, SBI NE Circle, senior officials of SBI NE Circle and office bearers of the hospital.

Addressing on the occasion, Dinesh Khara said that State Bank of India have been supporting various CSR activities through SBI Foundation (SBI's CSR arm) and Local Head Offices. SBI has undertaken flagship programmes in the field of primary healthcare (SBI Sanjeevani), digitalization of villages by way of adopting villages. The bank also provided relief material like ventilators, oxygen concentrators, ICU beds during the Covid-19 pandemic. Sister Celin expressed her gratitude to SBI for the helping hand extended to Mercy Hospital by donating the medical equipment.
