State Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma visits shelter homes at Morigaon

MORIGAON: State Social Welfare Minister Pramila Rani Brahma on Monday took stock of the condition of the children and women living in shelter homes sponsored by the Ministry of Women and Child Development, Government of India, in the district.

She visited three shelter homes like Ujjawala Home, a Government of India project and maintained by Jaluguti Agragami Mahila Samity, Swadhar Greh by Barchala Gramya Sakharata Samity and Children Home. She distributed sanitizers, masks, fruits, health drinks and biscuits among the children and women. The minister was accompanied by ADC ST Rahman and DSWO Debajit Bora.
