Stolen gold ornaments recovered by Mangaldai Police

MANGALDAI: Mangaldai Police in their continuing operation against the organized gang of criminals has once again arrested a notorious criminal who duped a lady and stole gold ornaments worth value Rs. 4 lakhs. According to the complaint one Hazarat Ojha of Balugaon Bazar under Kharupetia Police Station had duped one lady Padma Ingti of Thakurkuchi village in the guise of Bikash Das and stole her gold ornaments. On receipt of the complaint, Officer in Charge of Mangaldai Police Station, Inspector Dina Bondhu Bhuyan immediately launched investigation and arrested the accused along with the stolen gold ornaments. In this regard, Mangaldai Police has registered a case vide no.423/2020 u/s 406/420 IPC.
