Stray rhino creates panic in Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A rhino which came out from the sixth addition of Kaziranga National Park in search for food, created panic among the residents of Gotaimari, Makuwa Chapori in the south-west part of Jamugurihat on Wednesday.

According to information, the rhino entered the paddy and jute fields of peasants and caused great damage. Local people informed the Diplonga range office about the rhino immediately. A team of foresters managed to send it back to the sixth addition of KNP.
