Student of Silchar Medical College dies in bike accident

SILCHAR: In a tragic incident, Dickson Panmei, a final-year student of Silchar Medical College died in a road accident. The incident happened early this morning inside the SMCH campus. Police source said, Panmei, a student of eighth semester was riding a bike and one of his friends was the pillion rider. At around 3.30 am, Panmei somehow lost control of the bike which collided with a wall. Panmei died on the spot due to severe brain injury and his friend sustained some injuries. Panmei was a resident of Silchar town and he was visiting his friend who stayed at hostel.
