PATHSALA: Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass gave a brief speech while attending an event hosted by Bhattadev University. He engaged the students in conversation about his personal life experiences and offered several advice. The "Varsity Week" week, which began on March 28, came to an end on Monday with the awarding of prizes. Minister Ranjeet Kumar Dass was invited as the ceremony’s chief guest. In his address, Dass advised the students to mentally prepare for a variety of careers and to have a backup plan in place in case they were unsuccessful in finding employment or performing in their chosen fields.

“I am not afraid of making mistakes or failing. At first I used to be a reporter, then I became a professor, then I worked as an officer of Ministry of Information Bureau and later became speaker and Minister,” Dass said. He added, “All the professions I joined has “er” in it and I have decided my next profession too.”

“Only the trying will fail, and only the trying will succeed. Failure teaches a person more than success ever does,” he added. Minister Das adding humour to his speech mentioned that one day his daughter suggested him to become a sweeper as “er” is present in that too. She asked him to be such a sweeper who sweeps the odds from the society.
