Subdivisional Welfare Office employee's death condoled in Tezpur

Tezpur: A condolence meeting was held on Tuesday to mourn the sudden demise of Rajesh Das, a Junior Assistant of the Subdivisional Welfare Office, Tezpur, who breathed his last on Sunday at 9.15 PM in his Bihaguri residence. He was 56. He leaves behind his wife, two sons, two sisters and a host of relative.

The meeting, held in the office of the Subdivisional Welfare Officer, Tezpur, Sonitpur, was presided over by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Sonitpur, Kulen Sarma. Addressing the condolence meeting, Kulen Sarma remembered Das' good qualities as a responsible person and as a good staff of the department. A two-minute silence was observed at the meeting which was attended by the officials and employees of the Subdivisional office. They extended their heartfelt sympathies to the family members of Rajesh Das and deeply mourned his demise and prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul.
