Submission of application for Mukhya Mantrir Grammya Achoni extended till June 30

HAILAKANDI: The time limit for submission of application for Mukhya Mantrir Grammya Paribahan Achoni has been further extended till June 30. This has been disclosed by District Transport Officer, Syed Rafiqul Mannan here on Wednesday. Mannan said the scheme was launched by the Transport department covering 10,000 villages across the state on March 3 this year. However, in view of the lockdown for more than two months, the last date for submission of application has been further extended till June 30, he added. Application form and scheme related details are available at www.comtransport.assam.gov.in. Under the scheme, subsidy assistance to the extent of 25 per cent of the cost of the vehicle or Rs.1 lakh whichever is less is provided to an individual or recognised SHG of a village with a valid driving licence.
