Sudhangshu Das's Body found at BJP’s district headquarters at Itkhola in Silchar

SILCHAR: A body of an elderly person was found in the VIP room at the first floor of the BJP’s district headquarters at Itkhola in Silchar. The deceased person, identified as Sudhangshu Das, used to stay occasionally at the BJP office along with canteen staff Nantu Roy. However, Sudhangshu Das was not a staff of the BJP office as stated by party’s district president Bimalendu Roy. On Wednesday morning, Nantu Das reportedly informed Bimalendu Roy that he was unable to open the room in which Sudhangshu was staying. Police was immediately called upon and the door was forcibly opened only to find the lifeless body of Sudhangshu lying inside. The body was sent for post mortem.
