LAKHIMPUR: Aide et Action, a non-profitable international organization organised a five day-long summer camp for school students from class III to Class VIII in Lakhimpur district. The event was held at Lilabari High School, Katori Chapori High School and Boginadi Gagaldubi Janajati High School from July 20 to July 25 under the project title 'Addressing the COVID Learning Gap (ACLG)'. The project is aimed to address and mitigate the learning gaps among rural school children due to COVID-19 pandemic. The project is being implemented at present in 7 districts of Assam namely Baksa, Barpeta, Nalbari, Kamrup (rural), Biswanath, North Lakhimpur and Dhemaji.

The main objective of the summer camp was to engage ongoing school students in various extra curriculum activity such as games and sports, drawing, yoga, paper craft, big book making, storytelling, poem recitation etc.
