LAKHIMPUR: The Asom Anusuchita Jati Yuba-Chatra Santha has extended full support to the bandh called by North East Students’ Organization (NESO) opposing the Citizenship (Amendment) Bill on Tuesday.
In a press release, the central committee president of the organization, Nripen Das said that 40 lakh Scheduled Caste community people of the State would never support the controversial Bill and the conspiracy hatched to pass it in the Parliament.
PATHSALA: The All Assam Kalita Janagosti Students’ Union (AAKJSU) has supported to the Assam bandh called by AASU and NESO against CAB. AAKJSU central president Anupal Dutta Pathak said that the central committee of AAKJSU along with 23 district committees would support the bandh on Tuesday. He also said that if the CAB was passed then it would destroy the peace and harmony of the State. He also said that the Assam Government was trying that stop the protests of the common people.
