Sushanta Borgohain of INC wins from Thowra constituency

DEMOW: The result of the State Assembly Election was declared on Sunday and in Sivasagar's Thowra constituency, INC candidate Sushanta Borgahain beat BJP's Kushal Dowari. On the other hand, AJP candidate Dipen Tanti also contested in the Thowra constituency.

It is to be noted that the constituency has the lowest number of voters. There are 1,15,364 total voters. The constituency registered 83.27 per cent voter turnout.

While Sushanta Borogahain got 47,949 votes, Kushal Dowari secured 45,900 votes.
