UDALGURI: A symposium on the present condition of Bodo language and Bodo medium was held at Thelamara Primary School premises. The session was inaugurated by Abindra Mochahari, the former vice president of Bodo Sahitya Sabha of Udalguri district, while the session was moderated by Mantu Basumatari, the former vice president of Udalguri district Bodo Sahitya Sabha. The renowned Bodo writer Nabin Malla Boro has urged the Bodo people to cultivate the habit of reading Bodo literature and enrolling their children in Bodo classes. Noted writer Baidyanath Upadhyaya also spoken on the occasion. The symposium was a part of Orang Primary Bodo Sahitya Sabha's 53rd annual session. During the session people paid tribute to the martyrs of Bodo language movement.
