Tamulpur police arrests two on charge of raping differently abled minor

Tamulpur: Sensation prevailed along Baksa district while one differently-abled minor girl was raped on Wednesday evening at Dwarkuchi area under Tamulpur Police station in the district of Baksa. According to Tamulpur police on Wednesday evening a differently abled minor came out from her house towards Dwarkuchi market to bring milk. At that time two youths saw her alone on the road and allegedly lifted her inside an auto-rickshaw. The youths took her towards Tulshibari near Rangia and allegedly raped her in a jungle area and left her there. Tamulpur police was informed about the incident. Getting the report, Police Inspector, officer in charge of Tamulpur Police Station, Ashim Borah and officer in charge of Gandhibari police outpost Manoj Das launched an operation with a police team and rescued the girl from Tulshibari and an operation was started to nab the culprits. With the help of local people and COVDO of Tamulpur Police Station, Dilip Das police succeeded to arrest two youths namely Tafajwal Ali alias Babul Ali ( 27 ) and Wazed Ali(29) from Dwarkuchi area at midnight in connection with the rape case. A case has been registered against Tafallwal and Wazed at Tamulpur Police Station and on Thursday after producing them in front of the Judicial Magistrate they have been sent to jail.
