Teachers undergo COVID-19 testing in LOKD College of Dhekiajuli town

DHEKIAJULI: COVID-19 swab tests for teachers and other staff started in LOKD College, Dhekiajuli on Monday. The tests will continue till August 30. Altogether 3,500 teachers and other staff who are connected with the educational institutions of Dhekiajuli town, Missamari Mouza and Borsola Mouza will be tested as per government directives. As per the State Government's directive, within August 30, teachers, lecturers and Principals of all the educational institutions of Assam must undergo swab tests and the COVID-19 negative report will have to be collected from the health department and submitted at their respective educational institutions. Testing is going on at the LOKD College campus, Dhekiajuli under the supervision of the SDMO, Dhekiajuli, Dr Anuradha Boruah.

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal, CM media Adviser Hrishikesh Goswami and State Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowory condoled his demise.
