Tezpur University organizes Special Campaign 2.0 for disposal of pending matters

TEZPUR: Tezpur University organized Special Campaign 2.0 for the disposal of pending matters in line with the Special Campaign organized in all the Ministries/Departments of the Government of India from October 2 to October 31, 2021.

The University authorities decided to organize the Special Campaign in two phases, namely the preparatory phase and the implementation phase. During the preparatory phase, from September 14 to September 30, the competent authorities decided that the University would primarily focus on Swachhata (cleanliness) in offices and the disposal of Pending Matters during the implementation of the Special Campaign. It was decided that during the implementation/campaign phase, from October 2 to October 31, the office spaces in the administrative building of the University would be cleaned to promote cleanliness and enhance the workplace experience of the staff. The pending grievances received from CPGRAMS and other platforms will also be addressed during this phase and the redundant scrap materials found on the campus will be disposed of.

The University organized cleanliness drives in the offices of the Administrative Building during the implementation phase to commemorate Special Campaign 2.0. Various offices, including the Store & Purchase, Establishment, General Administration, Controller's Office and Finance Offices were cleaned. Several files in the offices were shifted to a designated storage area to provide more space for the staff.

It was observed that the efficiency in day-to-day operations improved through this step and the staff felt more comfortable in the now clean and spacious offices. It was also observed that the public grievances received by the University from various platforms, including the CPGRAMS platform, were thoroughly resolved and no pending cases were registered during the campaign phase. Tezpur University employs a systematic and efficacious garbage disposal system. On a day-to-day basis, a meagre to no amount of scrap is ditched in the campus and the offices. The Special Campaign 2.0 has been a grand success at Tezpur University and the University authorities believe that through this campaign it has been able to promote the ease of living of its stakeholders.
