Third Schedule Tribe (ST) Morcha District Executive meet in West Karbi Anglong

DONGKAMUKAM: Shivnath Brahma, state president of the Schedule Tribe (ST) Morcha, stated that the BJP has provided enough development for the Schedule Tribes while attending as chief guest at the third ST Morcha district executive meet. The meeting on Tuesday was held at Atal Bihari Vajpayee Bhawan, Ghilani, the district head office in West Karbi Anglong. In the meeting he further asked the ST Morcha leaders to speed up the activities. He said, indigenous games in the state level in Guwahati will be organized. He asked social media in-charges to share BJP’s activities.

State ST Morcha Treasurer Longsing Tokbi, the prabhari of West Karbi Anglong said that ‘Bongo Sena’ does not exist in Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong. He urged the workers to work collectively for the party in ST (H) areas.

Presided over by the president of District ST Morcha Romen Pator, the programme was also attended by State member Dipen Ronghang (Treasurer), chairman of Veterinary Development Board Ditolal Hasnu, chairman of PHE Development Board Jwell Tokbi and nine ST mandal presidents and others.
