Three arrested with 1.21 gms of suspected brown sugar in Sivasagar

Three persons were arrested with 1.21 gms of suspected brown sugar in Sivasagar, said police. Acting on a tip off, a team led by Dy Superintendent of Police (HQ), TSI Nabajyoti Das and SI(P) Debasish Sarmah raided at ASTC Tiniali of Sivasagar town on Monday and apprehended three persons identified as Debasish Changmai, Ritul Ali and Gopal Krishna Gogoi.

SIVASAGAR: Three persons were arrested with 1.21 gms of suspected brown sugar in Sivasagar, said police. Acting on a tip off, a team led by Dy Superintendent of Police (HQ), TSI Nabajyoti Das and SI(P) Debasish Sarmah raided at ASTC Tiniali of Sivasagar town on Monday and apprehended three persons identified as Debasish Changmai, Ritul Ali and Gopal Krishna Gogoi. About 1.21 gms of suspected brown sugar, three mobile phones and cash worth Rs. 2650 have been seized from their possession. Further legal action is being initiated, said police.
