Three car lifters nabbed; recovered four stolen cars & bike in Karbi Anglong

DIPHU: In a joint operation led by Guwahati Crime Branch, Diphu Police Station and Karbi Anglong Manja police station, the police recovered four stolen cars and a bike and nabbed three car lifters on Friday.

They have been identified as M. Rajiv Kumar Singh (35), son of Kumjeswar Singh; Ajoy Biswas (42), son of Amor Biswas, and Md Abdul Karim (27), son of Infan Ali. The list of stolen vehicles are Bolero (ML10C 1898), Creta (UP14 DN 7086) and (AS 01DX 5386),

i20 (ML 05P 9588) and a Bullet motorcycle (AS 01DZ 0509).

They were arrested under IPC P/S 18/20 U/S 379/411/468 and have been kept in Manja police station.
