Three-day training programme for census field trainers held in Kokrajhar

KOKRAJHAR: The first phase of the three-day training programme for the officials engaged as Field Trainers (FT) for census works was held from March 11 to March 14 in the conference hall of the Deputy Commissioner’s office, Chirang.

In the training programme, which was inaugurated by Biswajit Goswami, Additional Deputy Commissioner and census Nodal Officer, a total of 18 Field Trainers were taught on various aspects of conducting house listing, housing census and population enumeration by the experts coming from Guwahati.

These Filed Trainers will now impart training to a total 985 supervisors and enumerators to be engaged in the massive exercise to count different aspects of the population and run the entire process smoothly. As such, these enumerators and supervisors will also do house-to-house enumeration at their designated areas. The training for supervisors and enumerators will be conducted from April 20 to May 20, 2020, in the district.
