Three goat lifters caught red-handed by public in Golaghat

GOLAGHAT: Three goat lifters were caught red-handed by the public in Golaghat. According to reports, the goat lifters - Maina Ali, Sanju Bhumij and Yasin Ali took a unique way to lift goats from the streets. The trio in a Tata Magic passenger vehicle lifted some goats at Thengal Gaon village under Kamargaon PS in Golaghat. When they were trying to flee from the spot in the vehicle, locals chased them and caught them at Marangi area. People thrashed the goat lifters and cut their hair. Later they were handed over to the police.
