Three held with ganja by Chhaygaon police

PALASBARI: A team of Chhaygaon police arrested one Shyamalal Sarkar after ganja was seized from his possession at Aambari under Chhaygaon constituency on Tuesday night.

Police sources said that a raid was conducted at Aambari area and the police seized 4.5 kg ganja from his house. The estimated value of the ganja is said to be Rs 1 lakh in the market. In this regard, a case has been registered at the Chhaygaon police station. On the other hand, Chhaygaon police arrested Faijul Hauk and Ashraful Ali with ganja worth Rs 1.20 lakh from Jorhimolu under Chhaygaon constituency recently.
