Three members of a Kokrajhar family murdered

KORKAJHAR: Three members of a family, including a minor, were killed with sharp weapons at Mukhigaon villager under Fakiragram Police Station in Kokrajhar district on Wednesday night. Police sources said the incident could be a pre-planned move. The reason behind such a heinous act is yet to be ascertained. The family members who were killed have been identified as Tipul Ray, his wife Marami Ray and minor daughter Anjumani Ray. However, one of the daughters aged six years could escape. The neighbours came to know about the incident only on Thursday morning and informed the police. The police team rushed to the spot and sent the bodies for post mortem. The police have started investigation.
