Three teenagers rescued by Police from drowning in flood water

DONKAMUKAM: Three teenagers named Edwin Marak (16), Man Sangma (19) and Sonju Marak (17), all from Wakanta village under Bithung Rengthama MAC constituency, West Karbi Anglong, were saved from drowning in flood water by the police and local people.

On Wednesday evening when the trio was heading towards a safer place in a locally-made boat, due to strong current of water near Kulai RCC bridge they lost control of the boat. They jumped and caught hold of a tree nearby and shouted for help. They were finally rescued by Donkamukam Police led by in-charge Probin Tumung and local people.
