Tinsukia Chemists and Druggists Association holds first general body meeting

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia Chemists and Druggists Association (TCDA) held its first general body meeting at Tinsukia on Sunday in presence of a distinguished gathering.

Rameswar Teli, Union Minister of State for Petroleum, who was present as chief guest, recalled the contribution of the association during the COVID pandemic. He also appreciated the services rendered by the drug retailers at the time of pandemic. Chaired by Pankaj Deka, the outgoing president of TCDA, the meeting was attended by Hridayanda Mahanta, Drug Controller-cum-State Licensing Authority of Assam, Nayanmoni Baruah drug inspector Tinsukia/Dibrugarh, besides a host of members.

The TCDA selected new office bearers with Romi Hatikakoty as president, Muktesh Saha as secretary and Saurabh Agarwal as treasurer. The TCDA is affiliated to Chemist & Druggists Association of Assam under All India Organization of Chemists & Druggists (AIOCD).
