Tinsukia College organized sensitization programme on sexual harassment

TINSUKIA: The Cell for Women’s Studies and Development (CWSD), Tinsukia College, in collaboration with the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) of Tinsukia College organized a sensitization programme on sexual harassment at Hindi Girls’ High School, Parbotia Tinsukia on Wednesday. Professor Alka Singh of the Centre for Management Education of the college, acting as resource person of the meeting, explained in detail about sexual harassment, its types and self-defence modules. The meeting was attended by 200 girl students from different schools. The event was attended by Dr Deepika Bhattacharjee, Dr Hima Das Hazarika, Dr Sanghamitra Sharma, Ruma Payeng and Mayuri Sharma Barua.
