Tinsukia College organizes guardians' meet almost after a decade

TINSUKIA: Almost after a decade, the Tinsukia College organized a guardians' meet on Saturday with Dr Surjya Chutia, Principal in the chair. More than 100 guardians, besides office bearers of Tinsukia College Students' Union, were present in the meeting. The programme also witnessed presentation of annual IQAC Merit Award and Amrit Bhattacharyya Memorial Award for the year 2020. The awardees were Archita Hazarika, Disha Sureka and Karan Kadamawala for Arts, Science and Commerce streams respectively. A 7-member new committee of Tinsukia College Parent-Teacher Association was constituted for the next three years with Proma Sigha as president, Dr Surjya Chutia as working president, Kalpana Gogoi and Rajen Khound as vice-presidents, Jatin Bharali as general secretary, Adocate Imtiaz Khan as assistant general secretary, besides Rajen Saikia, coordinator IQAC Tinsukia College.
