Tinsukia court asked to provide room for VHF equipment

GUWAHATI: The Gauhati High Court has directed the District Judge of Tinsukia to temporarily allow installation of computers and machines within a room in the court premises for a Very High Frequency (VHF) station.

During hearing of a suo moto PIL regarding the need for installing VHF stations in various court premises of the State, the court further directed that subsequently a room will have to be constructed within six months in the open space already allotted for the purpose within the court premises.
