Tinsukia district wins Disaster Management Scorecard award by Assam State Disaster Management Authority

TINSUKIA: The Tinsukia district won the 1st position in the Disaster Management Scorecard in the state awarded by Assam State Disaster Management Authority. Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma presented the award to the district which was received by Tinsukia DC Swapneel Paul during the 5th DC Conference at Tinsukia.

This scorecard provides a set of assessments that will allow local administration to monitor and review progress and challenges of the disaster risks and ability to mitigate those risks and assess their disaster resilience.
