Tithi of Sri Sri Madhabdev was observed in Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar of Jorhat

JORHAT: The Tithi of Sri Sri Madhabdev was observed in the Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar on Tuesday. Hundreds of devotees from far and near and attended a day-long special prayer session that was held on the occasion. Sri Sri Madhabdev had established the Bornamghar during 1450 AD, said Prabita Kalita, the president of the namghar management committee. The special prayer session was led by Bab Kalita and Umesh Dutta. Moreover, as the holy month of Bhado started on Sunday, the Dhekiakhowa Bornamghar management committee has made arrangements for devotees to visit the Bornamghar on Janmastami too.
