Tools distributed among farmers in Nagaon

NAGAON: District Agriculture, Nagaon in association with Assam Projects on Agri business and Rural Transmission (APART) ceremonially distributed various agricultural machinery tools among the farmers under Chief Minister's Samagra Gramya Unnayan Yojana scheme, at the office premise of District Agriculture Officer, Nagaon on Tuesday.

During the programme, the department concerned distributed subsided machinery tools like combined harvesters, power trailers, spray machines and other machinery tools among the beneficiaries. The combined harvester machines were distributed ceremonially among two farmers production units in the first phase and the rest of the farmers production units would be distributed in next phases as under the scheme, the State government will provide one each combined harvester to a farmers production unit in every assembly constituencies in the district.
