Total of 19 persons of Amguri test positive for COVID-19

GAURISAGAR: A total of 19 persons of Amguri tested positive for COVID-19. The affected persons are Bajronglal Rathi (62), Nisha Rathi (30), Surjya Prakash Rathi (30), Harshita Rathi (9), Taniya Rathi (4), Pritom Gautom (35), Kashyapi Gautom (35) of Amguri town, Bornali Saikia (35) of Amguri Dhunia village, Biren Das (33) of Hafaluting Koibotra village, Puja Das (12), Suraj Das (12), Pallabi Das (6), Sudip Das (32), Rupa Das (26), Rajib Das (32) of Amguri daily market, Maya Malakar (45), Payal Basak (24) and Ayan Basak (2) of Amguri town near UBI Bank and Popi Magi (25) of Borbam Tea Estate. The Rathi family has grocery and cloth stores. Earlier, an employee of the family's business establishment had been affected by COVID-19. Hence, both the business establishments have been shut down by the district administration.
