Assam: Exposure Tour Organized for 600 Girl Students From Tea Gardens, Char and Border Areas

DHUBRI: A total of 600 girl students from the tea garden areas, char areas and border areas recently visited the District Commissioner’s Office, Dhubri, SP Office, the District Library and Museum and the Dhubri Medical College for exposure. The tour programme was organized under the “Beti Bachao Beti Padhao” programme.

As part of the tour programme, a movie, ‘Chak De India’ was also shown for empowerment of girl students. The tour programme was organized under the auspices of Dhubri Education Department in collaboration with District Administration and the District empowerment of women and Dhubri District Social Welfare Department.
