DOOMDOOMA: Along with trade unions all over the country, Asam Chah Mazdoor Sangha (ACMS), Assam Chah Karmachari Sangha (ACKD) and Centre for Indian Trade Unions (CITU) launched non-cooperation and blockade programme in the tea gardens around Doomdooma on Friday demanding withdrawal of the 'anti-labour' policies of the Union Government.

Several trade unions across the country have launched various agitation programmes to oppose the Centre's 'anti-labour' and 'pro-corporate' policies. Even BJP's own labour union Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangha (BMS) has opposed the Central Government's latest labour policies which, according to the Sangha, are not in the interest of the working class.
