BARPETA: The women trafficking business has been increasing in Barpeta district day by day. Recently, a 16-year-old girl of Jarabari village in Barpeta district was rescued from the women traders in Haryana. It may be mentioned that one 16-year-old girl of Jarabari village was allured and took her to Haryana for the purpose of selling her. She was captivated at Uklana town in Hisar district of Haryana. The Howly police after getting information reached Haryana and with the help of Haryana police were able to rescue the teenager girl from the grip of the traffickers. The incharge of Howly police station Pankaj Das stated that more information will come to light after the enquiry which is underway.
