Training on election expenditure held at Urban Training Centre in Tezpur

TEZPUR: A training programme on maintenance of election expenditure accounts was held at the Urban Training Centre here in Tezpur on Saturday. The training was conducted for all election agents deputed by various political parties and candidates contesting the upcoming Assembly elections.

Treasury Officer TarunSaikia imparted the training to the various agents present on how to maintain election expenditure registers, how to submit final expenditure accounts of candidates at the end of elections, and also apprised them about the fixed timeline for the same as decided by the ECI.
