Training on women empowerment held at Jamugurihat

JAMUGURIHAT: A day-long training programme on women empowerment convened by Drishtee Swavalamban, an NGO, was held at Rangasakuwa on the northern part of Jamugurihat on Sunday.

The training session was addressed by Sharat Saikia, supervisor of the NGO, as an expert. He provided basic skills on self-reliance and how to achieve economic growth. He further added that the NGO will provide a helping hand to the women of the greater Rangasakuwa area for economic uplift in the days to come. The training session was attended by nearly 100 women of the area.
