Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary launched Skill development mission of BTR

KOKRAJHAR: Transport Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary on Tuesday launched the Bodoland Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Development (SEED) mission at Bodofa Cultural Complex, Kokrajhar.

Patowary said the launching of the mission for skill, employment and entrepreneurship development will give more opportunities for the unemployed youths of BTC region. He said Pramod Boro led BTR government has started various missions to make a proper road map for employment generation for educated unemployed youths of the region. He also said the skill, employment and entrepreneurship development through skill developers will bring more opportunities for jobs to the unemployed in various fields.

Earlier, the Principal Secretary of BTC Shantanu P Gotmare gave the keynote address while BTC EM of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship Development Wilson Hasda spoke about the mission of employment and entrepreneurship. He said, "Pramod Boro-led BTR government had taken up a number of missions to take development to a new height. He further said the new government in BTR had brought peace among all sections of society giving equal rights and privileges.

The launching programme was also attended by EM Dr. Nilut Swargiary, MLA Jiron Basumatary, Vice Chancellor of Bodoland University Prof. Laishram Ladu Singh and Kokrajhar DC Varnali Deka.
