Trauma Care team introduced in Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Speciality Hospital near Demow

DEMOW: Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Vaidyakiya Pratisthan’s Swargadeo Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Speciality Hospital, an ONGC CSR initiative, is situated at Rajabari near Demow of the Sivasagar district. In a press meet held on Saturday, it was informed that Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Speciality Hospital has introduced its Trauma team consisting of Orthopaedic, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Rehabilitation and Intensive Care experts.

The aim to deliver outstanding medical care and save lives during the crucial ‘golden hours’ following a trauma. Supriya Dutta of the Administration Management explained about the Emergency and Trauma Care Team and said that the hospital had added a Neuro Surgery Department. Dr Gautam Das, CEO of Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Speciality Hospital, said that the objective was to deliver prompt and specialized medical attention during the critical golden hour.

Dr Nirmal Chandra Chutia, a General Surgery consultant of the Siu-Ka-Pha Multi Speciality Hospital, said that more than 1,000 operations had been successful done in the hospital.

The Trauma Team doctors are Dr Uday Arun Ranade, an Orthopaedic Surgeon, Dr Putul Chetia, an Anaesthesia consultant, Dr Nirmal Chandra Chutia, General Surgery consultant, and Dr Arijit Chakraborty, Neuro Surgeon consultant.
