Tribute paid to cultural activist Mrinal Das in Tamulpur

BAKSA: A tribute ceremony was organized at the office of the Tamulpur Anchalik Students' Union on Monday morning to commemorate Mrinal Das, secretary general of Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad and former general secretary of Tamulpur Anchalik Students' Union. The ceremony was organized by Tamulpur Anchalik Students' Union and Tamulpur District Karmachari Parishad. On Saturday, Mrinal Das, secretary general of Sadou Asom Karmachari Parishad, popular actor and cultural activist, died while undergoing treatment in the ICU of GMCH at the age of 56. Former Tamulpur constituency MLA Emmanuel Moshahary was present in the programme as distinguished guest and he paid homage to Mrinal Das. Various other dignitaries and student leaders were present in the programme.
